Dr. Daniel Ruiz is an accomplished optical engineer and vision science specialist with more than 20 years of experience in developing ophthalmic devices, diagnostic instruments, and smart eyewear technologies. His career began in clinical optometry, but his passion for product design and data-driven solutions led him into research and engineering roles where he has helped bridge the gap between optical precision and consumer usability.
At ClearSight Innovations, Dr. Ruiz leads multidisciplinary teams in lens technology, digital imaging, and device prototyping. He has overseen the full product lifecycle for several FDA-cleared vision care instruments and holds multiple patents in adaptive lens design and biometric tracking.
