Company Description

Practice History
Prairie Vision Center started in 2005. Originally Dr. Welder took over Dr. Charles
Lindberg’s practice and was located in the Town Center Square from 1995 to 2005. Dr.
Jorgenson was located in the current location of Prairie Vision Center. In 2005 Dr. Welder
purchased Dr. Jorgenson’s practice. At this time the office was remodeled to the facility it is
today. Dr. Jorgenson retired in 2010. Dr. Picken joined Prairie Vision Center at the end of
2011. Starting in January 2017 Dr. Welder and Dr. Picken purchased Opticare from Dr. Ron
Brandt in Moorhead, MN. Currently Prairie Vision Center is an optometric practice with an
emphasis on taking care of patients at the highest level possible. It has been the philosophy
of the doctors to use the latest technology to provide the ultimate patient experience. In
doing so we strive for the employees to also take the attitude of making the ultimate
patient experience their goal. We look forward to having you on the team and will do our
best to make you feel welcome.
